The only reason for the existence of the Association is to conserve the environment.We base on village communities, on local cultures. We absorb mainstream protection views,practise while exploring & explore while practising,We explore conservation modes via different channels, various areas & miscellaneous formats& to promote conservation modes that are rich in regional characteristics.

We will persist with whatever conservation that is beneficial to environment.

Agreed Conservation area

  

Villagers are natural preservers for bio-diversity. Under the authorization of government, the Association encourages the communities to participate in conserving the local environment; encourages the NGOs to participate in promoting the traditional conservation culture & gives appropriate supports & scientific guidance to communities to build up an ecological restoration mechanism so as to further manifests the village communities’ authority & responsibility in conserving the local environment.

On 2006 Sep 11th, Management bureau of 3 great rivers sources State Natural Conservation areas, CI (Conservation International) & the Association borrowed, the 1st time, international advanced conservation experience, to launch the 1st Agreed Conservation area project in Qumalai county Qumalaihe Caochi village .
