Volunteers

The Earth is home to all human beings. We encourage different sectors of the society join in the team of volunteers so that the public will devote themselves to the management, improvement & conservation of the environment. We promote that people, notwithstanding their nationality of races, join hands to build a Green Home for the humans.

In July 2002, we & Beijing ‘Green network alliance’ initiated the first Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Grasslands ecological protection by University students. 12 volunteered students from Beijing University, Beijing Forestry University, Beijing Teachers University, Beijing Industry University etc, performed volunteer work in Caochi in the Changjiang river source region. In 2003, we again organized the 2nd Capital University students to support Qinghai-Tibet plateau grassland ecological protection.

In Oct 2002, Ha Xi. Za Xi Duo Jie, Deputy General Secretary of the Association, spoke in Beijing University, Beijing Teachers University, Beijing Industrial University, Beijing Forestry University, Beijing Agriculture University, Beijing Medical University to promote the first University students volunteered environmental protection actions, to encourage more people to participate in the volunteered environmental protection of the 3 great rivers sources region. The speech aroused very great responses.
